William S. ‘crow’ Smith is a Canadian Artisan specializing in the crafting of implements for everyday use. His interest in exploring the boundaries of ritual application are driven by an intrinsic connection to his Ceorl, Scottish, Anglo-Saxon and Bohemian ancestry. Using locally sourced and scavenged materials, fueled by speedrock, strong ale, unbridled imagination and the whispers of his ancestors, elemental aspects of ancient cultural attributes emerge in his workshop. Beorsele slab tables, Whisky flights, Antler tools, Staffs, wonder and wild dreams. He believes that within a vibrant local community, glass in hand and a roaring fire in one’s heart’s hearth, we, the people, can overcome, independently and collectively, the challenges we all face in our dynamic world.
